the reason why im most affected is because nagegets ko si irish, and the best part?  nagegets nya rin ako. in short pareho kaming baliw!  hahaha... saka magkasundo kami sa maraming bagay - makeup, twilight, malling, makeup, chismis, foodtrips, makeup, rap songs, photography... ano pa ba... nasabi ko na ba yung makeup?!?

but in fairness, she has found a better job.  sabi nga nila, kung wala kang ginagawang masama sa kapwa mo, babalik din ang blessing sayo.  you go girl!

"alam mo girl, mamimiss ka namin... coz you are like sunshine.  napapatawa mo kaming lahat, at never kang depressed.   saka kain ka ng kain!  nahahawa kami sayo, kaya ngayon nagugutom kami ni ate maricel, ikaw ang naaalala namin haha!"

actually i'd love to post them all here but you'll just have to see the rest at facebook.

anyways, i have given some stuff to friends coz they're just wasting away at my closet.  i don't want them to go expired so better give it to someone who can use it.

escada ocean paradise, given by my boss.  i had a headache when i first used it coz it was too sweet so i never used it again.  i gave it to sisterling.

sephora triple action mascara given to maricel.  anyways i compared it to body shop before and bs won.  it's also cheap coz it's on sale when i bought it, like 1.5 so compared to my daily food supply from maricel, she deserved it.  plus she gave me a good quality eyelash curler before which i still use until now.  i don't know if she loved this or not, i didn't get any feedback.

so this bourjouis amber blush which is suppose to be given to her also, is on hold.  im giving it to her coz i won another blush from ebay, my most awaited coralista:

this 'powder blush in tropical flush' is a shade familiar to nars' multiple o.

given to irish, who loved it so much that it didn't last one month.  i loved this so much before, but i have bare escentuals bare radiance now and i have no plans to switch back.

and irish gave me these when she came back from the philippines:  louis vuitton coin purse and what i told her to buy aside from jollibee hamburger - elf candyshop lip gloss

we are all happy barter traders :)

irish' costume party

the first costume party i've been to!

honestly, i really thought i'd be stressed because bambi was a bit cranky when i made him wear a shirt that says "I don't do costumes" (what can i do, it was mandatory to wear one and he wouldn't?!?) but irish was such a good host that even bambi couldn't say no to alcohol!

although our nurse friend (maricel) arrived two hours late, tagging along was her sister, kat, in the cutest minnie mouse dress, compliments of ebay.  actually all of our clothes were from online shopping, ours from ebay and irish from amazon.

it was a haven of booze and slr cameras!  irish purposefully invited the photographers from our workshop so she don't have to worry about her digicam, all she had to do was pose for the night.

and there were flashes flashing all night!  the photographers (who are always desperate to get a model) were clicking hungrily at all costume wearers, and of course, the costume wearers are posing happily for free photo opportunities! they were all happy in their own careers!

of course, there was a sad moment when i thought of my son wearing a costume, too, but i have learned that to be able to survive 2 more years here, i have to distract myself and focus on our goal.  

otherwise ill go crazy, which i am almost half already.  but that would be on another post.

weekend

we usually spend our weekends sleeping til noon, right?

well, irish and i surely haven't done that in the past four weeks ever since we joined the photography workshop from the filipino club.

i could say it's worth it, but im pretty disappointed coz our last meeting we didn't actually have a workshop.  we just submitted our works and discussed some lectures and paid for our graduation this friday.

bummer.

i could be proud of my photography skills, but i didn't feel like im on another level.  it's just like knowing some stuff in your camera that you didn't know before.  no special skills added, no special tips and tricks given.

anyways, it would still be helpful to have that certificate.

jalil gave me this chocolate treat coz it was their version of christmas last week. expect me to bloat again hehe.


so since we had three days off, on the third day after the house-cleaning and self-pampering, in the name of shopping, maricel, irish and i went to city centre, the one mall that i can't bring bambi to because it's so damn big that he can't and won't keep up with me.

so, half of my hard-earned part-time job's salary was spent in less than 6 hours, apart from maxing my card out again, which i don't feel bad for because in one week i'll be able to pay for it again.

i was looking for a new blush, new work shoes and lip palette. but as usual, i got the nonessentials and was not able to buy the workshoes. but im so happy with what i got:


VaVaVoom cosmetic bag (freebie), minx blush, 22k lip palette, mikajy lip brush, and sephora mascara and eyeliner (both brown)

i also got a new checkered casual top and a turtle neck from forever 21 but no pix yet until i wear them :)


-and konad mini nailpolish in green and yellow until i use them.
